Description
You're invited to a benefit concert featuring John Rutter’s Mass of the Children on Saturday, June 10th, at 7:30 pm at Trinity Episcopal Church in Newtown. This beautiful piece of music was written in response to a desire to compose a work that would bring children and adults together, in the same way that performances of Britten’s War Requiem had done for him when a school chorister. The concert is hosted by the Connecticut Choral Society and Trinity Episcopal Church to benefit the amazing work of Newtown Youth & Family Services.
You'll enjoy an evening of beautiful music and at the same time, support the important work NYFS is doing in our community to help make a positive impact on the lives of children and families in need.
