Description
In honor of Juneteenth, The Board of Directors of the Ridgefield Playhouse and Discovering Amistad have joined together to present a unique 2-part event that celebrates African culture. Samuel Pieh, Great-great-great Grandson of Singbe Pieh, lead captive aboard the Amistad & Captail Bill Pinkney the first black man to sail solo around the world will be interviewed live. Food, artisanal crafts, musical tributes and more.
