Newtown Lions Stuff A Truck Diaper Express

The Newtown Lions Club is planning a “Stuff-A-Truck” Diaper Express event to collect Diapers and baby personal Hygiene items on Saturday, June 14th from 9 am to 5 pm in cooperation with Stop & Shop at Sand Hill Plaza and the US Army 411^th Civil Affairs Battalion at 228 South Main Street in Newtown.
As part of our Hunger initiative the Newtown Lions are excited to provide a truck load of Diapers to the community for those in need. This event is designed to be fun while supporting four local food pantries with Diaper supplies: Bridgeport Rescue Mission), Hospitality Hall (Newtown) and Faith Food Pantry (Newtown) and Daily Bread Food Pantry (Danbury).
Everyone in the community is invited to come out and help stuff the truck. Remember children are invited to touch, climb on and “drive” the Army truck. STOP and SHOP IS STOCKING UP ON DIAPERS TO PURCHASE.
