Description
Immaculate High School’s 2018 Arts in the Park’s theme “South by Southwest” will celebrate the beauty and diversity of Mexico and the Southwest United States. Art, graphic design and music will immerse your senses in this joyous and colorful art and music show. Various art mediums created by students will be displayed, and the school’s concert band, jazz band, guitar ensemble, concert choir, mixed choir and a cappella club will perform. The event is open to the public on May 24 from 5:30-8pm in the Immaculate High School gym. Admission is free. Lemonade and nachos will be available for purchase. Proceeds will be donated to the Catherine Violet Hubbard Animal Sanctuary and the Caroline Previdi Foundation, both based in Newtown, CT.
