The Best Darn Jazz Club in Danbury

The first Best Darn Jazz Club in Danbury (BDJC) of the semester will be held on Friday, February 7 from 8pm to 10pm in the Colonial Corner in the basement of the Midtown Student Center. The BDJC is free to WCSU students, faculty, staff and alumni. It Is also open to the general public. There is no cost to non-WCSU people although we do ask for a donation. There will be light snacks and a cash bar with wine and beer for those 21 and over. There will be two terrific jazz groups performing. They are The Bentley Lewis Quartet with Malin Carta on saxophone, Niles Spaulding on bass, Ryan Hamme on drums and Bentley Lewis on guitar and The Malin Carta Quintet with Elisee Ngbo on piano, Larry Davis on drums, Niles Spaulding on bass, Dina DiMarco on vocals and Malin Carta on saxophone.
